Good afternoon, I`m a single Father living in New Jersey. I came across this sight because I need cash assistance. I applied for section 8 in Elizabeth, New Jersey back in 1999/2000. My son and I lived in Elizabeth untill October of 2007. I left my apartment in October of 2007 because the current landlord sent me a letter from a Lawyer saying that I have to vacant my apartment . No reason was given. I left, came into contact with a friend from some twenty years ago. She invited my son and I to her apartment until I get back on my feet. I moved my items in November of 2007, everything was sweet. Now, we all know that things don`t stay the same, my friend founded this house which was to much for me to handle, so I had to back out, she went on to move into the house, Stress started to form because I`m about to be homeless if I don`t get no help. I called the city of Elizabeth to see the status of my case, don`t you know that they sent the letter to the wrong address. The Lady says to me Mr. Harris, we were lookin for you since, September of 2007. To make a long story short, I qualify for a two bedroom apartment. My goal is to move in my apartment by June of 2008. I`m asking for cash assistance to help with the security and first months rent. I have email if anyone is willing to help support me. I`m trying to set example that we as Men can take care of our kids too. Thank you for allowing me to vent my worries to you.
